Identify this woman found dead at Ajax shoreline

Durham Police investigators are releasing a digitally created photo of an unidentified female who was located deceased on the shoreline of Lake Ontario in Ajax.

On February 12 at about 9:15 am, members of West Division responded to the area of Lake Ontario near Audley Road for a deceased female found in the water. The body was recovered and sent to the Centre of Forensic Sciences for a post-mortem examination. There were no obvious signs of trauma and there is nothing to suggest that foul play is involved, said a police statement.

The female is described as Black, shoulder length black hair in braids. The victim has vitiligo skin pigmentation on her face. She was wearing a black sweater vest, red jacket, black socks with a green pattern and black gloves with snowflakes on them.

Forensic Investigative Services have digitally created a photo of the unidentified female in an effort to assist with her identification. Attached is a digitally created photo of the female victim.
