It’s almost Halloween and time for police costume contest

It’s almost Halloween, and time for the Durham Regional Police Service (DRPS) Halloween Costume Contest.

If kids or pets are dressing up as police officers this Halloween, DRPS wants to celebrate them, it said.

It will be selecting five finalists, and appointing one the winner. The winner will get a chance to meet some of the officers, and all finalists will take home a swag bag.

Here’s how to enter:

  1. Take a photo of your little hero in their police-inspired costume.
  2. Email the photo to socialmedia@drps.ca

Spread the word and let your friends and family know about this fun contest, and that DRPS is on the look out for best costumes.

The contest deadline is November 1st at 12pm.
