Police get their wanted man… along with $10,000 in drugs

Durham Police yesterday said a male arrested on an outstanding warrant is also facing drug trafficking charges in Oshawa.

On Tuesday, October 24, members of Central East Division Downtown Foot Patrol were conducting proactive policing in the area of Simcoe Street South and Hall Street in Oshawa, when they observed a male who was known to be wanted on an outstanding warrant.

The male was taken into custody without incident. A search of the male revealed a prohibited knife, as well as a large quantity of Fentanyl and drug paraphernalia with a street value over $10,000.

The 31=year old of no fixed address was charged and held for a bail hearing. Name and further details available at www.drps.ca.

  1. I love that you are. Editor’s notes let me explain this to the editor the guy was charged with illegal drugs fentanyl on top of it Also the individuals wanted I’d have to say the editor seems to be also the problem for the community in our area in which I live .
    As for other suspects durham would already know who they are. As for awaiting criminal charges, I’d have to say that, you know, for a fact that if someone’s wanted by the police and is selling fenton all and you thinking they’re gonna walk away?
    I think the editor is doing harm again to the community and if it was happening in the editor.
