There will be road closures and traffic flow changes due to Canada Day events planned on Friday around the Lakeview Park area of Oshawa.
Road closure from 7am until midnight.
- Lakewood Park Avenue between Simcoe Street and Ritson Road;
- Simcoe Street South between Harbor Road and South Limit; and
- Valley Drive between Ritson Road and Simcoe Street.
Harbor Road between Simcoe Street and Farewell Street will be one way eastbound. Parking will be available on both sides facing eastbound.
Lakeview Park Avenue will be a one-way street traveling eastbound from Ritson Road to Simcoe Street until 8pm.
At 8pm, Lakeview Park Avenue will change directions and be a one-way street traveling westbound from Simcoe Street to Ritson Road until all traffic has cleared.
