Lane restrictions on Bayly Street start on Saturday

The Regional Municipality of Durham is advising residents of lane restrictions on Bayly Street (Regional Road 22) in the City of Pickering.

These are tentatively scheduled for January 7 to 21. Unfavourable weather conditions may impact the work schedule, the region said.

It said the restrictions will be at the intersection of Bayly Street and Brock Road. The right turn lane from westbound Bayly Street to northbound Brock Road (Regional Road 1) in Pickering will be closed. Eastbound traffic needing to turn north onto Brock Road at this location will be detoured to Liverpool Road.

These are needed to allow for the placement of utility infrastructure for service expansion, said the region.
