Lane restrictions on Ritson Road for rail bridge repair

The Regional Municipality of Durham has announced lane restrictions on Ritson Road South (Regional Road 16) in the City of Oshawa.

These will be from October 28 to December 6. Unfavourable weather conditions may impact the work schedule, the region said.

Lane restrictions will be in place on Ritson Road South, from Viola Avenue to Mitchell Avenue to safely repair the Canadian Pacific Kansas City railway bridge deck.

The region said it realizes that the work may be disruptive and will make every effort to complete the work as quickly and efficiently as possible. Drivers are asked to exercise caution for the safety of pedestrians, cyclists and work crews.
