This driver picked the wrong car to overtake – unsafely

Some people just can’t seem to get away with shortcuts, as happened with a driver (top image) in Scugog, who was supposedly late for work.

North Division Traffic yesterday said they charged a driver for speeding, and passing  – of all the vehicles, a police car – when the roadway was not clear of approaching traffic.

In fact, there was a school bus on the road.

The incident took place in Seagrave in the Township of Scugog.

The driver’s excuse was. they were late for work.

“Please drive safely and obey speed limits,” policce said.

North Division Traffic also charged a driver (images below) with stunt driving. The car was clocked excessively speeding a 65kmh over the speed limit.

The driver received a 30-day licence suspension and 14-day vehicle impound.

The incident took place yesterday morning in Uxbridge.

This time, the excuse was I’m late for golf.

Please pay attention to and obey the speed limit, police re-emphasized.
