Man wanted on multiple warrants attacks police after trespass

A male wanted on numerous warrants has been arrested after trespassing on multiple properties and assaulting police officers in Pickering.

On Sunday, October 20, at about 9 pm, members of West Division responded to several calls for a suspicious male knocking on doors in the area of Mockingbird Square and Mourning Dove Lane.

Officers arrived on scene and identified the male, who was currently wanted on various warrants from another police service. As the male was taken into custody, he assaulted two officers.

Both officers were assessed by paramedics for minor injuries.

A male, age 30 of No Fixed Address, was charged, released on an undertaking and transferred to another police service for his outstanding warrants. Name and further details available at www.drps.ca.
