An adult passenger suffered life-altering injuries following a collision in Oshawa, said DRPS in a statement.
On Sunday, March 16, at about 5:30 am, members of Central East Division said they responded to a single motor vehicle collision in the area of Wentworth Street and Forbes Street. A white Ford pickup truck left the roadway and struck a tree.
An adult female passenger was transported to a Toronto-area trauma centre with life-altering injuries and a male adult was transported to a local hospital with minor injuries, reported police.
Members of the DRPS Collision Investigation Unit attended the scene to conduct an investigation. The roads in the area were closed for several hours while evidence was collected.
