Life saving CPR saves Charlie’s life after house fire

There are real heroes who walk the streets of Durham, helping save lives as part of their daily work-life.

Yesterday, we are sure that the owners of Charlie and Dolly (pictured above) would have been truly grateful to the team that saved their pets from a house fire – especially Charlie who had to be resusciated.

Meet Dolly and Charlie who were rescued by Clarington Emergency and Fire Services Firefighters Muir and Graham, and police K9 Unit’s D/Cst’s King and Dunlop, said a tweet from Durham Regional Police Service (DRPS).

They were rescued from a house fire.

“Without the quick actions of life-saving CPR, the outcome for Charlie would have been very different,” it pointed out.

“We wish… a speedy recovery!” the tweet added.
