Man does indecent act at bus stop three days in a row

A 59-year-old Ajax man has been arrested and charged with Indecent Act and Criminal Harassment offences, said the Durham Police yesterday.

On May 24 at about 8 am near Brock Street North and Chestnut Street East, two female victims were approached by a male while they waited for a bus. The male stood close to them with his hands in his pockets, committing an indecent act, said a police statement.

On May 25 at around 8 am near the same location, the same male was observed driving a silver Acura TSX. He exited his vehicle and attended the same bus stop. He was again observed to commit the same indecent act.

On May 26 at about 8 am near at the same location, the same male was once again observed and again committed the same incident act.

The suspect has been charged and held for a bail hearing. Names and further details available at www.drps.ca.

Investigators want to ensure there are no other victims.
