Man dragged into Oshawa home and violently assaulted

Durham Police said three males and one female are facing charges after a violent assault at a residence in Oshawa.

On Sunday, December 15 at about 5:10 pm, members of Central East Division responded to an unknown trouble call at a residence in the area of Graburn Avenue and Drew Street. Police were called after three males were seen dragging another male into a residence.

Officers arrived on scene and saw several parties fleeing the residence. One suspect was taken into custody without incident, while two other suspects remain outstanding. A search of the residence located two additional males and a female, who were taken into custody without incident. A firearm was also located inside the residence.

The victim was transported to a local area hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries, police said.

Two suspects from Oshawa and two from Niagara Falls have been charged. All parties were held for a bail hearing, police said. Names and further details available at www.drps.ca.
