Man found with gunshot wound, police looking for suspects

Durham Police are investigating after one male was located suffering from a gunshot wound in Uxbridge on Friday.

On October 30 at about 3 pm, members from North Division were dispatched to an unknown trouble call in the area of Davis Drive and Lake Ridge Road. Officers arrived on scene and located one male suffering from a gunshot wound. The male was taken to a Toronto-area trauma centre with serious but non-life-threatening injuries, said a police statement.

It is believed the unknown suspect(s) fled the area in a vehicle and were last seen westbound on David Drive toward Main Street.

Police are looking for any witnesses or anyone with cellphone, house surveillance video or dashcam video to come forward.
