Man points gun at group during quarrel at Oshawa Centre

Durham Police said they are looking to identify a suspect after he pointed a firearm at a group of males in the Oshawa Centre on Monday.

Following the altercation the suspect fled on foot with two other males, travelling southbound through the parking lot.

On October 7, at about 7:20 pm, members of Central East Division responded to the Oshawa Centre for reports of a male pointing a firearm at a group of males at the south end of the mall.

The suspect is described as: male, Brown, slim build, approximately 6’ in height, 20-30 years of age, long hair in a bun, wearing a white coloured tracksuit, black sandals, black crossbody satchel and black scarf.

Anyone with cell phone, dashcam, surveillance footage, or information about this incident is asked to contact D/Cst. Hartry of the Central East Division Criminal Investigations Branch at 1-888-579-1520 ext. 2770.
