Durham Police said two males are facing charges after one was stabbed during a physical altercation in Oshawa.
The first male sustained minor injuries and was transported to a local-area hospital. The second male did not sustain any injuries, police said.
On Monday, October 7, at about 10:50 am, members of Central East Division responded to an armed person call in the area of Bond Street East and Simcoe Street North.
Two males had gotten into a physical altercation resulting in one of them being stabbed. Officers arrived on scene and located both males, who were taken into custody without incident.
Amale, age 33 of No Fixed Address was charged and released on an undertaking.
A male, age 26 from Whitby, was charged and held for a bail hearing. Name and further details available at www.drps.ca.
