A Pickering man is in stable condition after being shot at his residence yesterday afternoon, police said.
No arrests have been made and investigators do not believe this was a random incident. it added.
On Friday, September 25, at about 12:30 pm, officers were called to a townhouse on Sheppard Avenue in Pickering regarding shots fired. They discovered a 34-year-old male suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was rushed to a Toronto trauma centre and remains in stable condition, said a police statement.
Witnesses reporting seeing the shooter get into a vehicle and driving away.
The suspect is described as male, black, 5’9″ tall, wearing a black hoodie, black shorts and a surgical mask. The vehicle he entered after the shooting is described as a silver or grey 2004/2005 Dodge Caliber.

Investigators are looking for an older silver Dodge Caliber. The suspect drove off after shooting the 34 yr old multiple times. He is now stable in hospital.
