Nascar truck racing returns to Clarington after 7-year hiatus

After a 7 year absence, Nascar Craftsman Truck Series (NCTS) is coming back to Clarington for the 2027 racing schedule.

NCTS is a pickup truck racing series owned and operated by Nascar.

The series will be racing at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park for tens of thousands of race fans from across Canada and the northern United States.

“This news has the community excited and impatient. It’s like hearing Christmas is coming but not until next year. We’re going to have a hard time waiting for the 2027 Labour Day weekend,” said Clarington Mayor Adrian Foster.
