The Municipality of Clarington has announced it has received an application regarding a proposed development of a 12-storey building at Mearns and Concession Road 3.
“Innovative Planning Solutions has submitted applications on behalf of Eiram Development Ltd. for an Official Plan and Zoning By-Law Amendment at the south-west corner of Mearns Avenue and Concession Road 3 in Bowmanville,” said a municipal notice.
The proposal includes plans to develop 275 residential units in the form of:
- A 12-storey mixed-use residential building
- 3-storey townhouse units
- A mix of land uses including residential, commercial, and outdoor amenities
The municipality said the development proposal will be coming to the Planning and Development Committee on October 21 at 6:30 pm. It urged residents to join online or in person at the Municipal Administrative Centre at 40 Temperance Street, Bowmanville.
The municipality advised residents to note this is not an approved project – this is the start of the planning process.
