A tech company that is focused on offering pest management to industries has been allowed into the Soft Landing Program.
IPM Scoutek, which was founded by Brian Hendel and the famous Carrie Iszak from Splice, has stated that they are able to provide live pest management to help greenhouses to manage the flare-ups that they have. They are doing this so that they can provide a higher amount of crop yield as well as putting a main focus on quality. The funding has given everyone the chance to create a video that they are using to reach out to new clients. The software has global potential, and it can also help people to really benefit not just for the short-term but for the future as well.
The Rise of Tech
This isn’t the first form of tech to go global. The online casino industry has rocketed in the last 10 years because it can provide gamers with real-time gaming experiences. Take the Spin online casino for example, they provide a huge range of online games that can be accessed anywhere, at any time. It’s this level of convenience that has fuelled the industry and taken things to that next level. The company themselves hope that the same concept is going to apply to their movement. The pest control service can be accessed just about anywhere, and it provides real-time updates to anyone, regardless of their location.
These two examples just go to show how tech has transformed to become more convenient in our day to day lives, and it also shows how much we are relying on tech advancements to make our day-to-day jobs way easier. From entertainment to pest control and even healthcare, the rise of tech is showing no signs of slowing down.
Digital Pest Control
Even though the system is designed for use with greenhouse crops, it’s safe to say that it can also be used in orchards as well. This is going to help monitor any pest control issues. IPM currently has a ton of clients, who are across Ontario, western Canada and even Windsor-Essex. They also have some in Europe as well. They have very strong hopes for their product, and they believe that they are going to be able to meet the demands of the market. They have stated that, as with any new tech business, they do have a lot of work to do but at the end of the day, this is to be expected. They are hoping to debut some new technology that will help them to showcase the tech they have, and they are also hoping to get some webinars on the go as well. This will demonstrate the software and the potential that it has to offer.
Only time will tell what the future holds, but for Canadian tech, it’s safe to say that it is looking bright, and that there’s going to be a lot more positive movements in the future.
