New lane restrictions from Tuesday on Brock Street, Rossland

The Regional Municipality of Durham is advising residents of lane restrictions on Brock Street (Regional Highway 12) and Rossland Road, in the Town of Whitby.

Brock Street restrictions begin from today September 26 until November 9, and will be from Vanier Street to Taunton Road (Regional Road 4).

These are needed to safely complete surface asphalt installation.

Lane restrictions on Rossland Road

The Regional Municipality also advised of lane restrictions on Rossland Road (Regional Road 28) in the Town of Whitby from September 26 to October 27.

Lane restrictions will be from east of Whitburn Street to 30 metres west of Centre Street, to safely complete road resurfacing

The region said it realizes that the work may be disruptive and will make every effort to complete the work as quickly and efficiently as possible. Drivers are asked to exercise caution for the safety of pedestrians, cyclists, and work crews.
