Based on the heavy snowfall and high winds creating white-out conditions, the township of Uxbridge and Brock are advising residents that roads may be snow covered and slippery.
Residents are encouraged to stay home. If travel is unavoidable, please drive according to the weather conditions, said their advisory.
Roads, sidewalks and parking lots will be cleared as soon as crews are able to address them. “Please assist our work crews by refraining from on-street parking to enable plows to go down the street and not pushing or blowing snow onto the roadways and streets.”
This significant weather event designation will continue through Friday night.
