The City of Oshawa has announced a filming event at 695 King Street East from tomorrow August 20.
The city did not announce the name of the production to be shot over about a week at the location.
Film production will be taking place mostly at night. Noise can be expected overnight and in the early mornings, including the use of generators.
For the purpose, the city has issued a noise exemption notice at the location.
Dates and Times:
- Thursday, August 20, 4 pm to Friday, August 21, 10 am.
- Friday, August 21, 4:30 pm to Saturday, August 22, 10:30 am.
- Monday, August 24, 5 am to 9 pm.
- Tuesday, August 25, 12 pm to Wednesday, August 26, 4 am.
- Wednesday, August 26, 2 pm to Thursday, August 27, 4 am.
The City of Oshawa has been a frequent location for filming of movies and TV shows.
Located only 60 km from Toronto’s downtown core, Oshawa offers easy access to Highway 401 and various untapped locations.
The Oshawa Film Office is a one-stop shop for location scouts and assists with preliminary location scouting, film permit processing, and coordinating municipal logistics for all levels of filming.
