One taken to hospital after Sunderland collision

North and southbound Lake Ridge Road was closed yesterday, but has since been reopened in Sunderland between Concession Road 4 and Reg Road 10 for a collision investigation.

Police said one male was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

35 provincial charges

Meanwhile, the DRPS Road Safety RIDE team was busy Saturday night in West Division (image below).

Police said 587 vehicles were stopped resulting in 35 provincial charges, 7 criminal charges and 6 drivers arrested and charged with impaired driving.
