Oshawa Collisions: Third driver charged in recent days

Durham Regional Police Service (DRPS) recently has laid a rash of charges against drivers involved in collisions, with the third being announced yesterday.

On Thursday, September 12, Investigators from the Collision Investigation Unit (CIU) concluded an investigation into a collision that occurred on July 7, in the area of Ritson Road North, in Oshawa. As a result, a 19-year-old male who was the driver of an involved Chevrolet Silverado pick-up, was taken into custody.

The man was charged and released on an undertaking. Name and further details available at www.drps.ca.

Previously, on September 8, police announced they had charged an 18-year old involved in a four-car crash in Oshawa. On September 9, police said they had also charged a driver in the nine-car Ritson crash in Oshawa that killed a woman.
