Cocaine, fentanyl and oxycodone found at traffic stop

Durham Police yesterday said a male is facing charges after being found with a quantity of drugs during a traffic stop in Whitby.

On Monday, September 9 at about 12:40 am, members from Central West Division on proactive patrol initiated a traffic stop in the area of Burns Street West and Clarence Drive.

The vehicle was searched under the Cannabis Control Act, revealing a quantity of drugs including what is believed to be cocaine, fentanyl, and oxycodone.

The suspect, age 23 from Oshawa was charged, and released on an undertaking. Name and further details available at www.drps.ca.
