The City of Oshawa has scheduled a Planning Act public meeting to discuss proposed residential development applications submitted for 1440 Conlin Road East that includes 33 street townhouse dwellings, two landscape strip blocks, two road widening blocks, and two local roads.
The project also proposes the extension of Cayenne Street to Conlin Road East and Nottaway Gate to Cayenne Street.
The applications, submitted by D.G. Biddle and Associates on behalf of 440 Taunton Road, seek approval for a draft plan of subdivision (File: S-O-2025-02) and to amend Zoning By-law 60-94 (File: Z-2025-01).
To accommodate the new layout, the applicant is requesting to rezone the site from R3-A “h-14” (Residential) to a modified R3-A Zone that would allow for reduced minimum lot area, reduced exterior side yard depth, and increased maximum lot coverage.
The applications have been deemed complete by city officials.
