Oshawa planning enhancements to BMX Park + more

The City of Oshawa said it is seeking input from the community on the design of a destination playground for Rose Valley Community Park.

Located at 1095 Thornton Road North, this park is proposed to include a playground, pickleball courts, formal gardens, passive walking trails and enhancements to the BMX Park.

Community members can help shape the design of the park by providing feedback on preferred playground equipment and accessibility by:

  • completing a feedback form online on Connect Oshawa (ConnectOshawa.ca/RoseValley); or,
  • on paper at Service Oshawa (50 Centre Street South).

Feedback will be received until noon on Wednesday, March 1, and will be considered in the selection of playground equipment and the accessibility components that may be installed in the park.
