Oshawa stabbing suspect taken to trauma centre

Durham Regional Police Service (DRPS) yesterday said officers from the Central East Division are investigating a stabbing incident on Albert Street in Oshawa.

One male taken to trauma center. No suspect descriptors as of yet, said a brief police tweet.

No further details were released till late last night.

Daylight robbery at Oshawa store

Durham Police investigator s are looking for a suspect after the robbery of a convenience store in Oshawa.

On Wednesday, March 23, at about 11:25 am, members of Central East Division were called to the Circle K convenience store on Park Road South for a commercial robbery. The suspect indicated that he had a knife, but no knife was observed. He stole cigarettes before fleeing on foot, said a police statement.

The victim didn’t suffer any physical injuries.

The suspect is described as male, White, medium build, 6 feet tall. He had red hair and a goatee. He was wearing a dark-hooded winter jacket, blue and yellow mask and dark jeans.
