Oshawa winter parking restrictions from December 1

The City of Oshawa is reminding residents about upcoming winter parking restrictions, which will be in effect from December 1st to April 1st.

Key Restrictions:

  • Nighttime Parking Ban: On-street parking is prohibited between 2 am and 6 am.
  • Snow Clearing Operations: Vehicles parked on city streets during snow clearing operations may be ticketed or towed, regardless of the time of day.
  • Occasional Use Parking Permits (OUPP): These permits are not valid during snow clearing operations.

The city is encouraging residents to plan accordingly and to avoid parking on streets during restricted hours to ensure smooth snow removal operations.
