Perfume thieves’ smash-and-grab at Shoppers Drug Mart

Durham Regional Police Service is investigating a commercial robbery that took place early Monday morning at a Shoppers Drug Mart in Pickering.

Officers from West Division responded to a robbery call at about 12:05 am on April 28, at the Shoppers Drug Mart located at 650 Kingston Road. According to police, three male suspects entered the store just as an employee was closing for the night.

The suspects reportedly used a hammer to smash perfume display cases and made off with an undisclosed amount of merchandise. They fled the scene in a vehicle driven by a fourth suspect before police arrived. No physical injuries were reported.

The suspects are all described as white males, aged about 18 to 25:

  • Suspect #1: Wore a black mask, dark tracksuit with a hoodie, and red running shoes.
  • Suspect #2: Wore a black mask, black and grey jacket with hoodie, black pants, and black shoes.
  • Suspect #3: Wore a black and grey jacket with a hoodie, black pants, and black shoes.
