Pickering man has gun pointed at his chest

A Pickering man has reported being stopped by unknown males and having a gun held to his chest while walking home on Wednesday night.

On September 4 at 9 pm, the 26-year-old man said he was walking home southbound on Krosno Boulevard from the Pickering GO station when he noticed a southbound vehicle with no lights on.

The vehicle then stopped close to him and two males got out. As he walked past, he was grabbed from behind and spun around by one of the males. A handgun was pointed at his chest and the unknown male demanded cannabis and the victim’s possessions. The victim didn’t have any drugs and believed the handgun to be a replica, so he ran away. The males did not pursue him.

The suspect vehicle was last observed driving northbound on Krosno Boulevard. A third male was seen inside the vehicle.

The suspect with the handgun is described as a male, black, in his 20s, about 5’6″ tall with a slender build, wearing a black balaclava, black hoodie and jeans.

The driver is described as a male, black, wearing a fitted ball cap. There is no description for the other male. The suspect vehicle is described as a small, dark-coloured SUV.

The investigation is continuing. Anyone with new information is asked to contact Det. Carter of the West Division Criminal Investigation Bureau at 1-888-579-1520 ext. 2562.
