Pickering says it’s time to get moving and grooving

The City of Pickering has announced the return of the Big Band Event that will be held on Sunday, March 24 from 2 pm – 4 pm at Chestnut Hill Developments Recreation Complex.

Adults 55+ are invited to an afternoon of musical entertainment by the George Lake Big Band. Light refreshments will also be served. Tickets for the Big Band event have been available for purchase from February 26 at East Shore Community Centre, George Ashe Library and Community Centre, as well at Chestnut Hill Developments Recreation Complex, said a city statement.

Tickets must be purchased in advance and are priced at $7 per ticket. Payment must be made with debit or credit cards.
