The Region of Durham is advising residents of lane restrictions on Bayly Street (Regional Road 22) in the City of Pickering, to allow for Elexicon Energy infrastructure placement.
The region says restrictions will be overnight from August 16 to 21, between 8 pm and 6 am and that unfavourable weather conditions may impact the work schedule.
It said lane restrictions will take place on Bayly Street, from Salk Road to Brock Road. A minimum of one lane in each direction will remain open at all times.
Elexicon realizes that the work may be disruptive and will make every effort to complete the work as quickly and efficiently as possible. Drivers are asked to exercise caution for the safety of pedestrians, cyclists and work crews.
