The Municipality of Clarington has announced a proposed plan to build 214 new residential units in Newcastle.
The project will require a Subdivision and Zoning By-Law Amendment for which a Statutory Public Meeting will be organized.

The site is located at the southwest corner of Rudell Road and Highway 2 (King Avenue) in Newcastle.
Clarington Municipality earlier said an application for a proposed development is currently under appeal and is under consideration by the Local Planning Appeal Tribunal.
