Suspect faces 104 charges after numerous locker thefts

Durham Police said a 45-year-old male was arrested after a Criminal Code search warrant was executed at a residence in Oshawa after numerous locker room thefts across Durham Region.

On Friday, May 19, members of the Central East Criminal Investigations Bureau executed a search warrant at a residence in Oshawa in relation to numerous locker room thefts throughout the region.

Throughout April and May, the suspect attended numerous locker rooms, often located within community centres, stealing a quantity of items from personal lockers. The suspect would then fraudulently use stolen credit and debit cards at nearby retailers, said a police statement.

The suspect of Oshawa is facing 104 charges, and was held for a bail hearing. Name and further details available at www.drps.ca.
