Police ask for witnesses after man found shot in Oshawa

Durham Police have issued an appeal for witnesses to an overnight shooting in Oshawa to come forward.

They are investigating after one male was located suffering from a gunshot wound.

On Sunday, October 9 at about 11:50 pm, members from Central West Division were dispatched to an armed person call inside the Whiskey John’s located at 843 King Street West.

Officers arrived on scene and located one male suffering from a gunshot wound. The male was taken to a Toronto-area trauma centre with serious but non-life-threatening injuries, said a police statement.

There is no suspect description available at this time. Police are looking for any witnesses or anyone with cellphone or dashcam video to come forward.
