Durham Regional Police Service (DRPS) have released a video on Twitter showing a near miss on a left turn by a truck with a trailer, and an overtaking car.
From the video, it appears that the truck-trailer turned too soon – but at the same time, it shows the car on the left side of an unbroken double line overtaking the vehicle, which took the dashcam footage.
DRPS North Division said the video was submitted to Road Watch, a community traffic safety initiative to report aggressive driving confidentially.
It said the incident occurred on Reg Road 8 at Con Road 5 in Uxbridge on September 30 at 3:50pm.
