Police look for suspects in home invasion robbery

Durham Police investigators are looking for three suspects after a home-invasion style robbery at a residence in Pickering

On Tuesday, May 25, 2020 [?], at approximately 4 am, members of West Division responded to a home-invasion style robbery at a residence on Major Oaks Road. At approximately 1:30 am, one victim was out front of the residence when he was confronted and assaulted by two suspects who were armed with firearms. The suspects escorted the victim into the residence and assaulted the second victim while demanding money, said a police statement.

The suspects confined the victims while they stole clothing, phones, video games and jewellry before leaving the residence. After some time, the victims proceeded to a family member’s residence nearby before calling police. The victims sustained minor injuries.

Suspect #1– is described as male, black, 20’s, 5’9″, thin build, wearing an all-black hoodie (hood up), black track pants and a blue medical face mask. He was carrying a small black handgun that had a red light beam

Suspect #2– is described as male, black, heavy build, and shorter than the first suspect. He was wearing a black medical mask, black hoodie (hood up), rubber gloves and was carrying a small black handgun.

It is believed that there was a third suspect who was staying with a vehicle.
