Police look for knife-wielding robber who got away

Durham Police investigators are looking for a suspect after the robbery of a convenience store in Oshawa on Tuesday.

On March 8 at about 1:50 am, members of Central East Division were called to the Circle K convenience store on Wentworth Street West and Oxford Street for a commercial robbery. The suspect entered the store armed with a knife and made a demand for cash. The suspect stole cash and fled eastbound on Wentworth Street.

The victim did not receive any physical injuries. Officers searched the area, with negative results, said a police statement.

The suspect is described as male, White with a slim to average build. He was wearing a blue winter jacket, grey pants, blue gloves, black face mask. He was also carrying a blue shopping bag.
