Police looking for suspects who stabbed man on New Year’s day

Durham Police are looking for a number of suspects after a stabbing in Beaverton.

On Wednesday, January 1, at about 4:50 am, police say they responded to the area of Park Avenue and Osborne Street for a stabbing. Officers arrived on scene and located an adult male victim suffering from stab wounds. The victim was approached by the suspects near Mill Street and Bay Street. After a brief interaction, the victim was stabbed.

Officers say that the victim was transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Police are appealing for any witnesses, or anyone with video footage, including dashcam and home surveillance, to please contact them.
