Police recover stolen car after a short pursuit

Two suspects were arrested in Ajax after they fled from police in a stolen vehicle Saturday evening.

On Saturday, August 14, at approximately 5 pm, members of West Division responded to a suspicious vehicle call near Bolland Crescent in Ajax. Police located a black Honda Civic which was reported as stolen from the Toronto area. Police attempted to stop the vehicle and the vehicle sped off. The vehicle was stopped nearby after a brief pursuit and the driver and passenger were arrested.

Treval Brown-Miller, age 23, of Scarborough, is charged with: Possess Property Obtained by Crime over $5,000; Flight from Police; Dangerous Operation of a Conveyance and Possession of a Prohibited Weapon (knife).

A 17-year-old male of Toronto is charged with Carry a Concealed Weapon (knife).

They were both released on Undertakings.
