Police release image of Ajax stabbing-robbery suspect

Durham Police investigators are releasing an image of a suspect in a street-level robbery after a 15-year-old was stabbed.

On Wednesday, March 22 at about 10:20 pm, police were called to the area of Torr Lane and Trott Lane, Ajax for an armed person call. Police located a 15-year-old male with a stab wound, who had his cellphone stolen. The victim was transported to a Toronto-area trauma center and is in stable condition, said a police statement.

Three suspects were seen fleeing eastbound from the scene, and are associated with a dark coloured SUV, possibly a blue Honda CRV. Investigators have determined there are further outstanding suspects as well.

Investigators are asking for anyone with information or video footage, including dashcam and home surveillance, to please contact police.
