Gas station robber threatens staff, steals cash

Durham Police are searching for a male who made threats while stealing cash from a gas station in Ajax.

On Thursday, November 7, at about 1:40 am, members of West Division responded to a robbery call at the Esso Gas Station, located at 211 Bayly Street East. A male entered the business and made threats toward an employee while stealing cash from the register. The suspect fled the area prior to police arrival.

The victim did not sustain any physical injuries.

The suspect is described as: male, White, wearing a dark jacket, and dark pants.
