Police seek info on woman who allegedly touched kids in pool

Durham Police yesterday said officers are looking for any potential victims or witnesses to come forward after receiving information that an unknown female inappropriately touched children at a swimming pool in Oshawa.

On Wednesday, July 25, between the hours of 3 pm and 4 pm, parents who were at the South Oshawa Community Centre located at 1455 Cedar Street, reported to pool staff that an unknown female was inappropriately touching children in the pool area, said a police statement.

Supervisors at the facility approached the female and asked her to leave and then later contacted police to report the incident. Police are now looking to speak with parents and/or children who may have any information about this incident.
