Police spoils this 16-year old’s double-the-speed thrill

Give a powerful running car or bike to anyone and it is but natural that the throttle would be tested. There is something primordial in the deep growl-to-a-roar of a revved up engine. And yes, speed thrills.

However, most of us are content in feeling the ‘beast’ and hearing it’s growl withing acceptable limits.

But then there are many who test the limits, especially when they think the police are not watching.

Unfortunately, for this young man, they were. And they soon put a stop to his thrill ride.

This 16-year old motorcyclist who was travelling 114 kmh in a posted 60 kmh zone, has had his bike seized, said officers from DRPS Central West Division on Saturday.

The teen has been charged accordingly, the added.
