DRPS Traffic Services yesterday issued a fraud alert warning residents about a new scam centered around red light camera violations.
“You will receive offical ASE (speed camera) and red light camera tickets in the mail,” reminded the police alert.
“You will NOT get a text like below,” it said asking residents to check sources and be cautious when you get emails and messages from unknown sources.
“Look closely at the url … -ca.com,” the alert said.
