Positive Tickets for staying off the phone and sober

Durham Regional Police Service (DRPS) has launched a new campaign to encourage safe driving among teen drivers.

It has come up with the concept of ‘Positive Tickets’ for safe young drivers.

“Traffic Safety Team will be out giving Positive Tickets to teen drivers for staying off the phone and staying sober while driving,” said a recent tweet from DRPS Central East Division.

There is a further incentive to encourage safe driving.

“There’s even a chance of winning one of three $500 gift cards,” added the tweet.
