DRPS Traffic Services said one of the most common speeding excuses officers hear is that the motorist was in a hurry to use the washroom.
Referring to an incident of speeding in Scugog towards the end of last week, a DRPS Traffic Services officer said while on Highway 7/12, the patrol had the opportunity to meet this driver (above).
At the conclusion of the stop the driver stated: “I knew better, and I should have went to the washroom before I left work”.
I hear this once a shift from full grown adults,” said the officer.
