25 phone-use tickets in two-day Bowmanville blitz

Officers from the East Division of Durham Regional Police Service (DRPS) concluded a two-day traffic blitz in Bowmanville last week.

The aim was to identify drivers using hand-held communication devices.

Police said 25 tickets were issued in relation to cell phones being used, and another 29 Provincial Offences tickets were issued.
