Ontario Power Generation has submitted a site plan application which shows a parking lot area to support the new head office expansion.
The parking lot design contains 1,777 parking stalls and several features, including defined internal pedestrian connections, a variety of vegetation, LED lighting, and bioswales. An amenity area is included around the proposed stormwater pond with benches and picnic tables. There is also a 300 metre walking trail around the pond to promote physical activity.
